About Chandu's Compounding Corner

"The big money is not in the buying or the selling, but in the waiting." - Charlie Munger

Our Mission

Every Sunday, Chandu’s Compounding Corner shares a detailed stock pick based on thorough research and long‑term value potential. Alongside each pick, we publish an in‑depth business case study that dives into the company’s economics, competitive advantages and growth drivers.

Our goal is to provide you with a comprehensive understanding of each investment idea not just the "what," but the "why" behind it. This approach helps investors learn how to analyze businesses critically and build wealth through disciplined compounding.

Because not every story is about winners, we also highlight companies that are struggling. We share short‑selling insights when the fundamentals or momentum suggest caution, and I’ll also share full short reports on companies that are not doing well.

Investment Objective

My investment philosophy is centered on identifying and holding a mix of proven leaders, emerging growth stories, and turnaround opportunities. I seek out established large-cap companies with strong track records of resilience, adaptability, and steady growth. Alongside these, I invest in small and mid-cap businesses that demonstrate the potential to transition into higher market segments, backed by robust fundamentals and scalable business models.

I also focus on turnaround situations—quality companies that may be temporarily out of favor due to short-term challenges but possess the strategic vision, management strength, and operational capability to recover and create long-term value. By maintaining this balance between stability, growth potential, and recovery plays, my objective is to build a portfolio capable of compounding wealth consistently over time, regardless of changing market conditions.
